Directorate for Organisation of the Judiciary is an administrative organisation of the Ministry that performs legislative administration tasks and those related to the strategic development of the judiciary.
These tasks serve to performing judicial power, authority enforcement of State Attorney's Offices, and in particular they serve for preparation of draft proposals and other regulations for establishment, scope, composition and organisation of courts and State Attorney's Offices, activities related to preparation of draft proposals and regulations regarding the work of attorneys, public notaries, expert witnesses, court interpreters and their implementation, activities related to collecting statistical and other data and their analysis regarding activity of courts and State Attorney's Offices.
It performs judicial inspection in judicial bodies and supervises notary service and performs tasks related to: rationalisation of courts and State Attorney's Offices, keeping records, bar examinations, notary and professional state examinations for judicial body officers and specific professional examinations.
It also performs insurance of judicial bodies.
The following organisational units are organised within the Directorate for Organisation of the Judiciary:

- Judicial Inspection Sector
- Service for Insurance of Judicial Bodies
Scope of work of the Directorate for Organisation of the Judiciary is stipulated by the Decree on Internal Organisation of the Ministry of Justice (OG 28/2012).
