Ambassador Foley’s valedictory visit
US ambassador H. E. James B. Foley paid a valedictory visit to Minister of Justice of the RoC Mr Orsat Miljenić in the Ministry of Justice on 11 July 2012.
Key topics at the meeting were the US regional initiative with the aim of reforming penal judiciary, amendments of the Act on Criminal Procedure, recovery of property for the Jewish community and the Agreement on extradition between the Republic of Croatia and the United States of America.
Since ambassador Foley leaves for a new position, at the end of the meeting he thanked Mr Miljenić for the exceptional cooperation, and he wished a successful finalisation of all the reforms for the Ministry of Justice and official entrance to the European Union and for the Republic of Croatia in general.
